Microsoft's stock price surged 15% at Thursday's close, adding approximately $450 billion in market value, marking its largest single-day gain in nearly 18 years. According to LSEG data, Microsoft's market capitalization subsequently rose to $3.35 trillion, breaking the record of $441 billion in single-day market value increase set by Nvidia on April 9, 2025. Analysts believe this surge is closely related to Microsoft's latest earnings report, which far exceeded expectations, as well as the growth prospects of its AI business.
