Huawei Executive Director Yu Chengdong recently posted on social media to hype up the upcoming Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master tri-fold phone. He revealed that this new product will be the first to introduce hardware-level anti-peeping technology into a large screen, aiming to address users' privacy anxiety when using foldable devices in public spaces.

Yu Chengdong pointed out in his post that Huawei, through long-term observation of tri-fold phone users' habits, has found that privacy protection in large-screen mode has become a core need. Particularly in densely populated public areas like airports and high-speed trains, users often wish to operate their large screens with more peace of mind, without worrying about others peeking.

According to him, the Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master has achieved a breakthrough in anti-peeping technology. Users can elegantly activate this feature with a double tap on the outer screen. Once activated, the phone screen remains clear and transparent when viewed from the front, but effectively prevents peeping when viewed from a very wide side angle, thereby more comprehensively protecting users' private information.

In terms of hardware configuration, according to previous reports, the Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master has already opened for reservations, with the top configuration offering a combination of 16GB of RAM and 2TB of storage space. Additionally, consumers can opt for a version equipped with the "Lingdun Anti-Peeping Screen," further strengthening its selling point in privacy protection.

This highly anticipated new product is about to make its official debut. Huawei has announced that the HarmonyOS 7 and Mate XT 2 full-scene new product launch conference will be held on September 7 at 14:30. By then, all the details and pricing of this tri-fold phone are expected to be revealed.

Analysts believe that Huawei's deep integration of anti-peeping technology into the large screen of a tri-fold form factor is a precise response to the needs of high-end business and privacy-sensitive users. This innovation is expected to set a new differentiated technology benchmark for the Huawei Mate series in the fiercely competitive foldable phone market.

With the launch event approaching, the market holds high expectations for the Mate XT 2's final pricing and actual experience. The effectiveness of its anti-peeping function, multitasking capabilities, and the durability of the foldable screen will all be key factors in measuring its success.

As the September 7 launch event draws near, it remains to be seen whether the Huawei Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master can carve out a new niche in the foldable phone sector with its unique privacy protection features—a topic worthy of attention from both the industry and consumers.
