On September 7, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max at its autumn flagship new product launch event, with a starting price of 4,799 yuan. The tablet debuts with the Xuanjie O3 AI flagship processor, offering multiple storage configurations, with the top-end 16GB+1TB soft-light screen version priced at 7,899 yuan. During the first sale period, purchasers of the tablet will receive a Xiaomi Focus Stylus Pro and a 6A dual Type-C high-speed braided data cable.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is positioned as a large-screen productivity tool, continuing the Xiaomi Pad series' layout in office and audio-visual fields. The floating keyboard is available as an optional accessory, priced at 1,099 yuan. This launch marks Xiaomi's introduction of its self-developed chip into the tablet product line.

In terms of display, the tablet features a 13.3-inch original color screen, supporting a 144Hz refresh rate and 3.4K resolution, with a 3:2 aspect ratio to adapt to PC-level application interfaces. The global brightness reaches 1000 nits, color accuracy ΔE is approximately 0.47, and a nano soft-light screen version is also available. The body thickness is only 5.67 mm, and the whole device weighs 645 grams, available in rich wine red, black, and silver color options.

In terms of hardware configuration, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max has a built-in 12000mAh battery and supports 120W Xiaomi Surge fast charging. The body adopts a unibody metal design, equipped with a 6-microphone array and flagship 8 speakers. The front and rear cameras are 32MP and 50MP respectively, and it supports Wi-Fi 7 high-speed connectivity.

As a core highlight, the Xuanjie O3 AI flagship processor is applied to this tablet for the first time. Official data shows that its CPU multi-core and GPU benchmark scores approach the M5 desktop platform, reflecting Xiaomi's progress in the field of self-developed chips.

In terms of system, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max debuts with Xiaomi HyperOS 4, built specifically for large-screen productivity, and has been adapted for applications such as WPS for Pad, CapCut Pro, and Pixel Cake. The multi-split-screen mode supports up to 6 split screens, enabling dual, triple, and six-screen parallel processing. In addition, the tablet supports DP-in audio/video input, and can be transformed into a portable monitor via a full-function Type-C direct connection, used as a computer secondary screen, professional drawing tablet, or large gaming screen.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max covers the high-end market with prices ranging from 4,799 yuan to 7,899 yuan, strengthening Xiaomi's competitiveness in the tablet productivity field. With the implementation of the Xuanjie O3 chip, this platform may be applied to more devices in the future, and its actual market performance deserves attention.
