AIsa, a San Francisco-based enterprise AI infrastructure company, has completed a seed extension round with Tether and HIVEN joining as strategic investors. The new funding brings AIsa’s total raised capital to more than $9 million. Existing backers include Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates, Saison Capital and other investors.
The company said the round supports its work on the Trusted Resource and Transaction Network for Enterprise AI Agents. AIsa describes the network as a governed, usage-based system that combines resource discovery, access and transactions. It connects enterprise agents to external data, AI search, models, APIs, software tools and industry services.
AIsa argues that fragmented providers, integrations and billing systems make it difficult for enterprise AI agents to operate effectively in production and scale. Its infrastructure aims to solve this by combining governed access with usage metering, billing and settlement. That approach is intended to give enterprises control over permissions, spending and transactions.
“Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact,” said Jordan Liu, founder and CEO of AIsa, in a Friday statement. He added that AIsa wants to build infrastructure enabling agents to discover, access and pay for resources globally. Liu also said the company is accelerating the transition from AI assistants to autonomous, production-ready agents.
Tether’s participation adds weight beyond capital. The stablecoin issuer reported a $1.5 billion net operating profit for the second quarter, driven mainly by interest on US Treasury holdings and repurchase agreements. Cointelegraph reported on July 31 that Tether generated another multibillion-dollar quarter.
The investment highlights growing overlap between crypto payments and enterprise AI. As agents increasingly need to transact for data, tools and services, governed payment rails could become critical infrastructure. AIsa’s network is positioning itself at that intersection.
