On October 25, Alibaba announced that its AI agent “Qwen Go!” has launched the “My Apps” feature. Users do not need to program; they only need to state their requirements to build apps for scenarios such as life, work, and study. The generated apps can be shared externally and can continuously update data.

This feature is aimed at non-programming users and attempts to lower the threshold for app building. Alibaba has integrated it into Alibaba Cloud’s AI application production platform Meoo (Miaowu). The platform can automatically complete app building, database configuration, and deployment and launch.

At the capability level, “My Apps” combines the Cloud Pro capabilities of Qwen Go. After user authorization, it can invoke their personal data on platforms such as Taobao, Amap, Damai, and Quark Cloud Drive. The newly built apps can therefore directly use existing life records such as shopping, travel, and study to generate more personalized dedicated tools.

The example Alibaba gave is the “Electronic Ticket Stub Album.” Users can invoke their historical orders on Damai and organize performances they have watched in the past into personal memories they can browse at any time. This case demonstrates the combination of personal data authorization and app-building capabilities.

From the usage perspective, this feature turns app building from programming operations into natural-language requirement descriptions. After an app is generated, it supports sharing, and the data can be continuously updated. For life, work, and study scenarios, the availability of dedicated apps is thus increased.

Currently, “My Apps” is in an invitation-only testing phase. Cloud Pro, which supports operating cloud phones and cloud computers, is also in an invitation-only testing phase. Users can go to the invitation-only testing page within the Qwen App to queue up and apply.

Alibaba has not yet disclosed when “My Apps” will be fully opened. The current invitation-only testing arrangement shows that the relevant capabilities are still being gradually released. The subsequent opening progress and the scope of authorized data will affect the specific experience users have in obtaining personalized apps.
