Dongfeng M-Hero X700 Launches: Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 and HarmonySpace 6 Cockpit Onboard On October 25, the M-Hero X700, the first model in Dongfeng M-Hero Automobile's all-new X series, was officially launched with a limited-time renewal price starting at RMB 209,800, equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 and the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit. The company announced four price tiers: the 325KM RWD Pro at a limited-time price of RMB 209,800, the 285KM AWD Max at RMB 229,800, the 285KM AWD Max+ at RMB 249,800, and the 360KM AWD Ultra at RMB 269,800. The corresponding launch guide prices are RMB 219,800, RMB 239,800, RMB 259,800, and RMB 279,800, respectively. The M-Hero X700 has body dimensions of 5,035 Γ— 1,999 Γ— 1,910 mm and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The new model is available in six body colors: Nyingchi Blue, Libo Green, Moshi Gray, Ulan Orange, Gezong Black, and Kunlun White. As the first model in the all-new X series, the X700 continues the full-stack, in-depth cooperation between M-Hero and Huawei Qiankun. In terms of the cockpit, the X700 debuts the HarmonySpace 6 cockpit, bringing a new Xiaoyi intelligent agent. The interior is equipped with dual 15.6-inch Huawei smart dual screens; the new-generation HUAWEI XHUD has a 74-inch projection and supports AR real-scene navigation. HUAWEI SOUND features 21 independent speakers and a 7.1.4 surround sound field, and supports functions such as mic-free karaoke 3.0 and AI smart accompaniment. In terms of intelligent driving, the new car is equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 5 and a 896-line LiDAR. The system supports functions such as highway NOA, urban NOA, and memory parking, and also offers AEB 3.0 and parking-space-to-parking-space 3.0. The related functions cover highway, urban, and parking scenarios. In terms of power, the M-Hero X700 offers a range-extender version and a plug-in hybrid version, both equipped with a 1,497 mL engine. The range-extender version has a power of 95 kW and a maximum net power of 90 kW; the plug-in hybrid version has a power of 113 kW and a maximum net power of 110 kW. The vehicle adopts an 800V platform architecture and is equipped with a 68.1 kWh CATL off-road-specific battery, providing a CLTC all-electric range of 360 km. In terms of performance, the M-Hero X700 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.93 seconds, with a combined power of up to 518 kW. The combination of the 800V platform and the off-road-specific battery constitutes an important parameter of the new car's powertrain system. The range-extender version and the plug-in hybrid version constitute two power choices. From a product layout perspective, the X700 undertakes the task of expanding Dongfeng M-Hero's all-new X series. With Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving and the HarmonySpace cockpit both onboard, intelligent configurations have become a highlight of the launch. The limited-time renewal price starting at RMB 209,800 also provides a clear price tag for its market entry. Looking ahead, the M-Hero X700 will face intelligent competition in the new energy vehicle market. Whether configurations such as highway NOA, urban NOA, and the HarmonySpace cockpit can translate into user experience remains to be tested by the market. The effectiveness of the cooperation between Dongfeng M-Hero and Huawei Qiankun will also be reflected in the X700's market performance.
