Stripe announced three new updates to help fintechs expand globally and move money more efficiently. The tools include expanded Global Payouts, stablecoin card issuing in more countries, and unified APIs for building financial products. These aim to simplify international operations for fintechs on Stripe's platform.

Many leading fintechs use Stripe to build and scale, including 32 of the Forbes Fintech 50. As they enter new markets, they need fast, reliable experiences while supporting local payment methods, compliance, and banking partners. Stripe's updates address these challenges.

Global Payouts now lets businesses send instant stablecoin payouts to 160 markets and traditional currency payouts to over 100 markets from the Stripe Dashboard. Fintechs can embed these capabilities for loan disbursements, remittances, and neobank cash-outs. Turo uses Global Payouts for claims payments and has processed over $160 million with a 99.5% success rate.

Stripe is launching stablecoin card issuing in 27 EU countries, expanding availability to over 65 countries, with plans to reach 100 by the end of 2026. With Stripe Issuing, fintechs can offer cards that draw from stablecoin balances and auto-convert to local currency at checkout. Stripe Issuing already powers over 400 million cards worldwide.

The updates are part of Stripe's unified stack, which includes Treasury, Global Payouts, and Issuing. These services integrate easily and share KYC information, reducing compliance work. Over 1,500 fintechs on Stripe serve 200+ countries, and the unified stack enables global financial products with a single integration. Stripe says this approach eliminates the need to manage multiple vendors.

By simplifying payouts, card issuing, and product development, Stripe helps fintechs scale internationally. The planned expansion of stablecoin cards to 100 countries by 2026 and the unified infrastructure signal a continued focus on global money movement. These developments position Stripe as a key enabler for fintechs seeking cross-border growth.
