Elon Musk's AI company SpaceXAI recently announced that its AI agent platform, Grok Bot, has completed a cross-platform expansion and has officially launched on Apple iPad and Google Android operating systems. This update marks an extension of Grok Bot's availability from its initial launch on the Apple Mac platform to now include iPad, Android, and the previously supported iPhone, covering four major terminal devices: Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Reflecting on its debut in August of this year, the core concept of Grok Bot was to enable multiple AI agents to collaborate around the clock. The platform allows AI to log in and operate different applications and websites, retaining contextual information when executing continuous tasks. More critically, it designed a feature for bots to share information and details, aiming to achieve complex collaborative tasks.

From a technical perspective, this platform adaptation means users can now experience Grok Bot's cross-application and cross-website automation and collaboration capabilities on the iPad's tablet interface and Android devices. Opening access to Android users has undoubtedly significantly broadened the potential user base for the service.

In terms of business strategy, SpaceXAI has made significant adjustments to Grok Bot's pricing. At the initial launch of the service, users needed to subscribe to a high-end plan costing as much as $300 per month to access it. Now, users can gain access to Grok Bot simply through the $20 per month Cursor Pro subscription plan. This move is seen as an important step to lower the barrier to use and attract a broader base of developers and users.

Industry observers note that this expansion and price reduction indicates SpaceXAI is committed to advancing AI agents from proof-of-concept toward more widespread commercial application. Covering multiple platforms and lowering prices is a common strategy to cultivate a developer ecosystem and user habits.

Looking ahead, the wider adoption of Grok Bot on more terminals may accelerate the penetration of AI agent technology into daily workflows. However, this also places higher demands on platform stability, security, and the collaborative efficiency between different systems. How SpaceXAI balances the expansion of functionality with the optimization of user experience will be a key challenge it faces in the next phase.
