Google’s rumored Fitbit Edge has surfaced in leaked images, pointing to a new midrange fitness tracker. The device appears to succeed the Fitbit Charge line, last updated in 2023, and sit between the Fitbit Air and Google’s Pixel Watch. A launch would refresh Fitbit’s middle tier after a product gap.

Images posted by Android Headlines show the Edge from several sides and in multiple colors. Its small screen supports widgets but is less expansive than a smartwatch, reinforcing its fitness-first positioning. The leak suggests Google is targeting users who want more than a minimalist tracker without moving to a full smartwatch.

Reported specifications include a seven-day battery life, built-in GPS and an altimeter. Those additions would make the Edge more useful than the Fitbit Air for running, hiking and other activities, while providing route and elevation data. Google has not confirmed the details, so the features remain unverified.

The tracker may include limited app support, with Google Maps and YouTube Music named as possibilities. That would add basic navigation and music access without changing its fitness-first positioning. No price or release date has been announced, and the leak does not establish a launch schedule.

Pricing offers a possible framework. The Fitbit Air costs $99.99, the Charge 6 is $159.95, and the Pixel Watch starts at $399.99. A price around $150 to $200 would place the Edge between the Air and the smartwatch, although that range is speculation.

For buyers, the Edge could combine longer battery life and built-in navigation sensors at a lower price than Google’s premium watch. Its success would depend on Fitbit turning the leaked feature set into a competitive product while keeping the experience focused. If released, it could renew interest in Fitbit’s midrange lineup and provide a bridge between basic trackers and smartwatches.
