Wingspire Equipment Finance and Nasdaq-listed IREN Limited closed a $363 million equipment financing transaction for IREN’s AI compute business. The deal refinances recently acquired, revenue-generating GPU servers and networking systems in high-density data centers. It converts deployed equipment into liquidity for growth.

The financing was completed with a six-lender group led by major commitments from Eldridge Capital Management and Silver Point Capital. The structure is secured principally by the financed equipment and supported by multi-year customer contracts. Wingspire said the deal returned substantial capital, a meaningful share of original cost.

GPU-based servers and networking systems in high-density environments are capital-intensive and require specialized financing. By refinancing equipment already in service, IREN avoids disrupting customer relationships while accessing new capital. The assets are central to its AI compute operations.

Dylan Potter, Vice President of Business Development at Wingspire Equipment Finance, said IREN sought to unlock capital from deployed AI infrastructure while preserving flexibility around customer relationships. He said Wingspire structured a tailored, asset-backed solution aligned with IREN’s operating model. Potter added that the firm stayed engaged throughout the complex financing.

Harrison Smith, Managing Director at Eldridge Capital Management, said the facility will support IREN’s expansion as it scales to meet future customer demand. He said Eldridge was proud to provide an anchor commitment. Smith said the commitment reflects backing for infrastructure that will define the future of AI compute.

The transaction highlights growing demand for large-scale, asset-backed financing for AI infrastructure. Wingspire said it demonstrates its ability to execute complex programs for capital-intensive platforms behind high-performance data centers. The lender group’s participation also signals appetite for revenue-generating compute assets.

For IREN, the financing provides liquidity as it seeks to expand AI compute capacity. For Wingspire, the deal reinforces its position in large-ticket equipment financing. Multi-year contracts provide contracted cash flow tied to deployed infrastructure.
