PhData Raises New Funding to Turn Enterprise Data Into Trusted AI Answers and Reliable Agents with Claude

phData has raised new funding from existing investor Gryphon Investors, with participation from Anthropic, to expand enterprise AI and data services. The Minneapolis-based company, a member of Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network, will use the capital to grow its team. It aims to turn enterprise data into trusted AI answers and reliable agents.
Founded in 2014, phData has more than 900 professionals across the United States, Latin America, and India. It is a strategic partner to Snowflake, AWS, and dbt and belongs to Anthropic’s program for firms deploying Claude. Gryphon is an existing backer, while Anthropic’s participation adds a strategic link to the Claude ecosystem.
phData’s services include forward-deployed engineers and strategists who work inside businesses one use case or department at a time. It also provides AI-ready data platforms, semantic layer offerings, and enterprise knowledge graph integration. Its Forge Methodology combines specialized AI agents, curated skills, and experienced delivery teams; the funding amount was not disclosed.
The company says reliable AI needs correct metrics and enterprise context. Its semantic layer gives Claude context over structured data, while knowledge graphs bring broader enterprise information into AI. AI also opens analytics to wider audiences through ad hoc analysis and dashboard building.
Anthropic’s Steve Corfield, head of global business development and partnerships, said customers want to use Claude where it matters most. He added that investing in companies like phData gives more businesses the expertise to put Claude to work. phData CEO Ryan Bosshart said clients need AI that provides reliable answers and transforms how their businesses run.
phData measures success through client results: more productive people, trusted metrics, and transformed business processes. It said every Claude engagement ties to an outcome clients can point to. The funding will help phData put top people into these engagements and build Claude services at scale.
